Sobre OpenTable

OpenTable is a cloud-based restaurant management solution that enables restaurant managers to accept online reservations and optimize seating arrangements. It is suitable for restaurants of all sizes. OpenTable is available in two modules: Connect and Guest Center. The Connect module records reservations and can be configured to give guests information about offers and promotions. Automatic email and text notifications are sent to guests when they make a reservation. The tool also captures guest details including seating preferences, special occasions and other personal requests. The Guest Center module allows restaurant owners to replicate the floor plan on their mobile device through OpenTable. Managers can track table availability and monitor the turnaround time for each guest. OpenTable also offers add-on modules to manage gifts, payments and private dining. The gifts module allows guests to receive and send restaurant gift cards. The payments module allows guests to make online payments through mobile phones.

La forma fácil de reservar en línea

Eficaz, en la que puedes reservar desde la aplicación en tu celular y tener una mejor experiencia con el restaurante, conocer mejor las ofertas cercanas, lugar y menú.

Gran aplicativo para reservas

Es una gran app, te saca de apuros cuando requieres hacer una reservación en algún restaurante para una ocasión especial y facilidad que te brinda

Desventajas

No he tenido ningún problema con la app, hasta ahorita todo de maravilla

Not worth it unless you are a major chain with 300 seats

Not enough to list. Exposure, but it's limited for smaller companies.

Puntos a favor

It allows you to assign tables in the restaurant as they come in and shoes a fairly good job of tracking several metrics like turn time, server cover counts, etc. It also has ways to advertise and draw in customers who may not know about you.

Desventajas

It's impossible to compete. With the difficulty in finding a restaurant as a customer it translates to moe exposure for larger chain restaurants with budgets to throw at open table. Also, it's pricey. The cost per guest that books is unreasonable and you still have to pay more to advertise. It's just not worth it in my opinion. That are cheaper methods available that focus on phone number advertising as opposed to email (because who opens email nowadays). There are text message options with open table but they are buried and not effective.
