Infor Hospitality Suite is used to manage a wide range of properties but is typically recommended for hotel chains, campgrounds, resorts, cruise lines, casinos and government lodges. The system offers integrated hospitality management applications including front desk and property management, yield and revenue management, central reservations, housekeeping, CRM, financials, business intelligence and maintenance management.

Most Infor Hospitality customers are using the product to manage the online and offline guest experience within properties. The solution can be implemented on-premise or over the web as a hosted system. Infor Hospitality offers mobile applications that may help track check in/check out time for guests, automate housekeeping and manage incidents and facilities. The system is iPad and iPhone accessible and combines social, mobile, analytics and cloud technologies to monitor usability and connectivity.

The solution is used for midsize to large properties with more than 100 rooms to manage.

Infor HMS is a progress PMS solution, where new enhancements are released every quarter. Initially, our experience's were not great in 2016, as HMS was somewhat lacking in features. In 2018, we have integrated practically all our system's in Infor HMS, delivering best in Class functionality.

The new enhancement's do come in wave's, and mandatory. Takeup of new changes can be quite challenging to some.

I think its user friendly, but could use some change in its customer support features.

HMS is incredibly user-friendly. It is easy to navigate using the drop down menus, and its bright, bold pages make it easy to read. Everything is fairly straight forward.

Puntos en contra

I do not like the customer support options; often feels like phone tag and representatives can be hard to understand. HMS would also slow down somewhat regularly, causing a negative impact when we made reservations or checked people in, as we would be waiting a while for things to load.

It is easy system as opposed to other programs I have worked on. Also I can log into program from home, or other window options.

The drop menus are self explanatory. Functionality is easy to work the program . Easy to log into the system from different windows.

Puntos en contra

Not crazy about printing or separate folios. The screen does not show what you want to immediately print. And there is a long pause when printing.

Would like to upgrade to something else, but finding it difficult to find system with just the right amount of features as this one.

Reliable in performance, friendly support team, unique in that it offers features other programs don't.

Puntos en contra

No longer caters to smaller hotels. Using an old (2006) version called Portfolio at the moment, but I'm stuck in the past, as there are no upgrades/alternative options available.

You can choose a lot of different options to personnalize HMS for you hôtel.
The support is always friendly as I have to contact them almost every day (which is not a good point of course).

I use HMS since less than 6 months and I already regret my last software. Never seen a software so slow. Be patient, very very patient and ask your customers to be too.
Too much crashs on the system, the support knows some of them but they can't do anything about it...
Updates at any time without informations so you can't work for a moment and you don't even know what was the updates. Who made it, seriously ? Someone who's never at the front desk, for sure ! Sorry if there's mistakes, english is not my birth tongue.
If you have to change your software, definitely don't choose HMS. Infor needs to improve and works a lot on it !!
