Uprise is a cloud-based practice management and electronic health recording (EHR) solution that helps manage both patient care and business aspects of an Optometric practice. It allows eye-care specialties and their practitioner to manage practice and comply with the changing regulations associated with Meaningful Use.

Uprise provides access to data-rich profiles for all patients. Users can search for patients, view summaries, schedule appointments and create Rx orders through each patient profile.

The solution comes with ophthalmic product ordering, reporting tools, patient scheduling, optometry billing, claims management and a patient portal. Uprise also includes a graphical annotation tool and the One Touch feature, which automatically populates orders, patient education and CPT codes after the exam is over.

This solution was designed to work on tablets allowing mobility from room to room. There are no long-term contracts and hardware purchase is not required.
